In 2013, David and April Lovejoy bought the house of their dreams, a beautiful 19th century farmhouse in Southeastern Ohio with 20 acres of land. It was the beginning of a beautiful journey that would provide a place for them to raise their family of four and a place to learn endlessly. David and April share a passion for history, enough so that April earned a Bachelors degree in history when she graduated from Ohio University in 2008, while David is a firefighter and paramedic by trade. But their interests are less about the mainstream history taught in high school and more of a “how did they do that?” desire to learn. As David often says, they want to learn how to do everything. These are the stories of their journey to attempt to do just that. So far, David and April have taught themselves an incredible number of skills. Some of those skills include
